During that time, Alberto had the honor of personally hosting Le Corbusier during his visit to Rio de Janeiro.
The encounter proved transformative and deeply influenced the design of the house, now recognized as a rare and valuable example of Brazilian proto-modernist architecture.

The pavilion he conceived perfectly embodies the principles of modernism: open and luminous spaces, large glass openings, and an organic integration with the surrounding Atlantic Forest — as if nature itself entered the house, framing each room with breathtaking views.

Located within a private 85,000 m² family estate with 24-hour security, the Pavilion sits atop Santa Teresa, one of Rio de Janeiro’s most privileged and central vantage points.
